Irony is a serious thing, if whilst smiling it makes us think. The animal-crate association is fun but at the same time it sensitizes us to mankind’s relationship with nature. This furniture piece represents an absurd image where the animals are physically shipped. Possible? To better express this concept we selected three classic farm animals, a cow, a pig and a duck. Every visible imperfection is indeed characteristic of the piece as in order to respect the poeticness of the original idea, the pieces were made by the same process used for real shipping crates.
